Our Weather Forcasts
The Namibia Meteorological Service (NMS) provides weather forecasting services to support public safety and socio-economic activities across Namibia. Using observations from a nationwide network of meteorological stations, satellite data, and modern forecasting tools, the Service monitors atmospheric conditions and produces reliable weather forecasts and advisories for the country.
These services include daily weather forecasts, short-term outlooks, warnings, and specialized weather information for sectors such as aviation, maritime operations, agriculture, and disaster risk management. The forecasts help communities, government institutions, and businesses plan their activities, reduce weather-related risks, and respond effectively to changing weather conditions.
