The Namibia Meteorological Service (NMS) is the national authority for weather and climate services in Namibia. As an ISO 9001:2008 certified service, NMS provides reliable meteorological information that supports safety, planning, and sustainable development.

NMS supports key sectors—including aviation, agriculture, water resources, health, energy, tourism, and environmental management—through weather monitoring, forecasting, and climate analysis. It also manages and preserves Namibia’s national climate data, ensuring accurate information for research, planning, and future climate understanding.
